About Us
Who are we?
Letters from Heaven is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was inspired by a three-year-old boy who deeply missed his Papa and was trying to understand where Papa had gone and why he was now in heaven. Papa had left his home to the little boy and his family to move into, and in the midst of their grief, the boy’s mother imagined a letter from heaven—one that would allow Papa to speak directly to him. Through that letter, Papa could remind his grandson how deeply he was loved, how much he was missed, and how the family home was a gift meant for laughter, play, joy, and a lifetime of memories. This heartfelt initiative is dedicated to keeping hearts connected and became the spark that inspired the mission behind Letters from Heaven.
